As a resident of neighboring Lake Saratoga, I would love to know how this sports complex will affect the residents' use of the lake, which consists mostly of motor-boating and bass fishing. Will these two uses ever be in harmony, or will the taxpaying residents be subjected to idle zones?

Pick any pond, lake, river, bay or ocean in the United States. The residents who live on shore have to SHARE the use of that water with crafts of paddle, sail, or motor. The same here in Cape Coral. I usually do not agree with McGrail but he was not out of line on this project. The tranquility or use of kayaks will not be a factor in your property value. In fact something of this caliber may in fact bring more interest. Water Wonderland Community my foot! You really have to listen to hear the paddles breaking the water on a kayak! No I don't own one either and won't be on that water.
