private lives and wallets. I have a small BCBS Plan for meds I take. Without it meds would cost about 500 a month. I pay about 90 a month for my plan. On Monday BCBS DROPPED the plan. OVER-no more. Dear policy holder, due to the "Affordable Care Act" act your plan will cease. Thanks ObumO! BUT they did offer me a replacement at 671.91 a month. So now I have to find an extra 500 a month for meds..or join. The Criminal obama is reducing the country to a 29 hour work week. The tax burden will be huge. Now wait till he gets amnisty for illegal millions of new DemoSocialists and gets them on ObumO care. 48% pays taxes in the US..now add the health cost burden of 11-20 million new illegals. ObumO care is not about health -its about the planned destruction of the US economy. IMPEACH OBUMO National Criminal Disgrace

Disgusting1 is totally wrong. ObumO care is designed to eliminate PRIVATE INSURANCE. 100s of times the Great Liar grinned and promised; "IF U LIKE UR PLAN U CAN KEEP IT" - Lie "THIS WILL REDUCE EVERYONE PREMIUMS BY 2500 DOLLARS" - Lie "KEEP UR DOCTOR" - Lie "NOW EVERYONE WILL BE ABLE TO GET AFFORADBLE INSURANCE" - Lie. The gov. estimates that 30 to 40 MILLION will not qualify for ObumO care. Thats MILLIONS - Whoops! We now have a petty dictator operating outside the Constitution, Law, and his oath of office. Picking and choosing which laws to enforce or not. Granting PASSES to Buddies Supporters Unions - EVERYONE but regular hard working Americans. IF its SOOO wonderful D1 then why dont all these "special" groups want it at all - nor does the majority of rational taxpayers? What is way over the heads of D1 and others is this is not about health care in any way. It is about Socialism and total government takeover of our private lives an

The ACA is not going to run health care in this country; it is simply providing a method for folks to buy affordable insurance policies via PRIVATE insurance companies. And, it's working to make monopolies like Lee Memorial have a come to Jesus moment and stop gouging us every time they give us an aspirin. Check an itemized hospital bill; you'll have to be readmitted.

Here's a few apprehensions I found about MEDICARE:

Ronald Regan in 1961, stated that: “[I]f you don’t [stop Medicare] and I don’t do it, one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it once was like in America when men were free.”

Barry Goldwater in 1964: “Having given our pensioners their medical care in kind, why not food baskets, why not public housing accommodations, why not vacation resorts, why not a ration of cigarettes for those who smoke and of beer for those who drink?”

In 1995 Bob Dole stated that he was one of 12 House members who voted against creating Medicare in 1965. “I was there, fighting the fight, voting against Medicare ... because we knew it wouldn't work in 1965.”

Just try taking Medicare away from folks now. Give the ACA a chance.

I hear it said, but don't see any concrete evidence. Do you have a website that is nonpartisan that provides this information? People who truly can't afford insurance don't have to enroll. There is so much misinformation on this it is unbelieveable. I am hoping to make an educational meeting next week even though I have the law and annotated it for myself.

Dsharrd: How do you explain all those that worked for doctors who have now retired because they don't want to deal with Obamacare? Many companies are doing away with full time because of Obamacare. They no longer have to provide any kind of health insurance. What is going to happen when doctors refuse to accept any insurance as full payment? Who is going to pay the deductible and the copay? Can you tell me that everyone can afford to pay that?

Grumpy: ACA is not the cause for people losing their jobs. It is the refusal of companies to provide their employees with health insurance. Some of the larger companies are offering to subsidize premiums to employees who find a health plan that fits their family needs. I am keeping track of those companies because they are the ones I want to do business with. I do empathize with the Walton family though. Only making 11.5 billion dollars instead of 10 billion if they provided decent health care to its employees must be very hard on them. They should be exempted and their employees allowed to continue to use Medicaid instead!

If you had ever spent time with Dr. Robinson you would not have made that comment. My primary physician was an adamant opponent of ACA but at my last visit he told me he had changed his mind and it was the best thing that could have happened!

I have to agree Ray. Much of what he states is untrue. What happens when doctors decide not to accept any insurance at all? True, lower income people will get a subsidy. Not the govt. though. We the people who pay the taxes will continue to support them with these subsidies. How much is the yearly deductible and the copay on these supposed great policies that are so cheap? Robinson, you need to put the Kool Aid away and come back to reality. Obamacare will not increase health care jobs. We are already losing those jobs because of the mandates.
