To paraphrase the News Press...The incumbent John Joseph Sullivan appears too negative and has no clear vision for the Cape. I rest my case. VOTE SULLIVAN OUT!

1Sandy I can't guest/guess. I'll tell you it is not 65% residential and 35% commercial as the city manager John Szerlad quoted in the media.

Sullivan at the halom/helm as Mayor kepy his word of no new taxes only to be over ridden by the Slick Six Council. Take a look at the proposed wages alone for police, fire, & city workers. A 3% increase in wages which is in line with other communities and government agencies. But then a 5% BONUS which is OUT OF LINE. Show me the other cash strapped communities that came up with the money toi provide and 8% (3 + 5 = 8). Actually $1 x 3%= $1.03, and 5% x$1.03 = $1.11. That is more than 8% the way the city manager is calculating the increases. As far as the reduction in pension the city budgets will never see those savings in 25 years.

1 dumb Sandy. Sullivan is telling it like it is most of these concoted NEW TAXES have no earmark as to really where or what they are going to be spent on. They will be stuck into the black hole general fund to operate the city. Another 5% bonus? A fatter general fund to show bonding agencies we can BORROW more and increase our debt to more than 1 billion dollars and increase the debt service on that money? To set a bigger budget next year to keep the general fund pumped up for greater wasted operations?

LEETZ, truly a legend in his own mind. He does not have a clue on how to be a Councilman, none. He is asked a specific question on a single issue and we get the LEETZ response, not the answer to the question but a vague response. That's because he doesn't have a clue of what the single most pressing issue is here in the Cape and through out the nation...JOBS! The Mayor's stooge has to go!

John Joseph Sullivan says, he doesn't know where the tax increase money will go? He is serious in that he does not know? This guy doesn't have a clue. 4 years ago the tax base consisted of 92 percent residential and 8 percent commercial. Guest what it is today with this Mayor at the helom? That's right 92 percent residential and 8 percent commercial. Where were all his "business" attraction strategies for the last 4 years? Right again, he had NONE! It is truly time for change! VOTE SULLIVAN OUT!
