You could see in his eyes when it was his turn to vote that Councilmember Derrick Donnell was agonizing over it....

Lightswitch...I agree.. it is sad that the ONLY for the CITIZEN - PEOPLE Council are SULLIVAN & LEETZ! The rest are worthless! Those other Council people can't even host a Townhall Meeting... Only McGrail did, as he wants votes. The rest DO NOT CARE about the regular Citizen... until they want a VOTE!

Throw out Sullivan & Leetz and the city council council loses the last of its morality and the last of the majority's representation.

See the Fire Assessment Tax put in place in Lauder Lakes (Ft. Lauderdale).

Google Lauder Lakes and see the first notice of how their fire assessment this year is 41% short! This council has implemented an open ended TAX that will not go away, will be tied to issuing BONDS year after year after year to be paid by home owners, landowner and renters. Lauderdale Lakes was at $213 last year and $300 this year. Just change the name to Cape Coral and ybou will see the FUTURE!
