Jon I like your idea. I would like it even more if some of the nobody little people tax payers sat on an overseeing board to see how the money is spent on the promotion and protect it from any outside unauthorized factions. Maybe this should be implemented in the everyday operation of Lee County now? Definitely would be of a benefit to the homeowners and taxpayers in Cape Coral.
Time to stop waiting for these governments to begin picking up after itself. It is never going to happen.
Next question of the day. If there are no clean water and beaches do you continue to have TOURISM? If you have no attractions like baseball for end use destination do you have TOURISM? Do you then need an international airport? Do you need businesses like hotels, restaurants supermarkets, real estate development? Charter boats, fishing gear, car rental, etc. Anyone see how dependent all the pieces fit to make one want to come to this area? You can't expect people to come to the area and have no
