It is time to send this mental midget of a city manager on his way. He is am amateur and cannot be trusted. Maybe this little glitch would not be so bad if they had not given all of the city workers bonuses. Yep bonus on our backs. What a corrupt and idiotic city administration and council. I am disgusted with all of you.

JJ SULLY but that would be only "ONE LEG OF THE 3 LEGGED STOOL.

McClain, Gone. McGrail, Gone, Szerlag Gone.

The people are onto this council SLICK SIX will be history.

This Fire Assessment is nothing but a bond issuance borrowing more money yearly on a never ending 30 year payment plan into the year 2043 and beyond.

This insanity needs to be stopped now!!!

This city manager broke the news at first a 2 mil reduction. Five days later a reduction of only 1 mil in the media. At the council meeting in July Donnell after hearing NO millage reduction states we need to show the people something. Now they MAY(?) reduce it by 1/4 of 1 mil. These CHUMPS are no friend of a homeowner or a renter in this excuse of a city!

Szerlag will be up for review in about a month or less. He is why you FIRE FOR NO CAUSE!

So called lies seem to be coming true. Your defense of this city in its actions to overtax the residents with more than false figures changing everyday is PATHETIC. I love McGrails comment, "I didn't want to muddy the water upfront." The man is all done politically ask many in his very own district! If the city brought in $12 million last year with 3.1% increase in property valuation. What is an increase of 7.13% increase to bring in almost $28 million. Not counting the new Utility Tax of 7% on kilowatts used, or taking 72% or over $23 million out of the general fund for a separate bill to tax payers as a Fire Assessment. This council and city manager is like knockwurst done, stick a fork in it! See ya all in court if this gets a green light by a judge!

1Sandy reread the article Szerlag knew 48 hours before the meeting the figures he was giving out were bogus.

But you tell me what I post is all lies? Lady you are from hunger when it comes to telling lies or defending your hero.

Dumb as a bag of rocks!

Listen Packer has a Cape Coral pension to protect as well a job the taxpayers kept for him through the worst economic meltdown since 1929. Be grateful because I would have sent you Packing!

Read this article once, make notes and reread the article.

If the stupid taxpayers can not figure out what they are dealing with on this city council and city manager. Well then they all deserve what they are about to receive. A true financial beating!

Last minute findings my foot. These people would steal from themselves given the opportunity.

The figures of taxes continue to be made up and passed off as averages. Baloney!

The best part is they are only a little more then 2 points away from the state coming in for a visit to ask, "What is going on here in Cape Coral, Fl. and how have you messed things up this badly!

Keep up the good work you sacks of pachyderm manure and "don't muddy the waters up front. Listen to McGrail and muddy the waters after you have passed all this sham of a budget!

1. It seems to me they are running a numbers racket. 2. Election is coming up vote the bums out. 3. The taxing authority and levying authority must be removed from the city council and returned to the people. In this day and age the elected officials simply are not responsible enough to have that power.

Tonight was very interesting at council meeting Aug 19,2013.

Many there were as nervous as a cat on a hot stove.

Erbrick I thought her voice was going to give out and hoped she might tear up. She clearly knows she if sacrificing families in an attempt to fore go the inevitable.

Donnell explaining why he is saving those who were saved in style in 2007 when they should have reduced numbers in city staff.

McGrail on more than one occasion screwed up in also a sheepish voice with the quote 2.5 mil reduction instead of the real figure he was speaking about 1/4 mil or less than 75% of even 1 mil.

The city manager what can be said for that slug? He will be gone even if all this unnecessary TAX is put through. Quoting Erbrick let's see how much it is going to bring in.

The businesses in the city have some togh sledding ahead. You want to sell your goods and services? THEM MARK THEM DOWN BIG TIME! You want to sell your house or condo them MARK THEM DOWN! Want to pay tour TAX

City workers do not have to they received a 5% bonus to cover at least an extra $100 for electric Tax, an extra $100 to $200 plus for Fire Assessment that you have been paying for all along. Now more unknown what is your Real Estate Tax going to be. Oh and you know that escrow account on your mortgage? Just wait until your lender recalculates that baby. Hey there is always the food pantry. Wait till they begin screwing with the water and sewer rates to pay back the State Revolving Fund loan for the $104 million they have to pay back. Your councilman Donnell does not know a left handed compliment from the truth. Governor to Donnell at the League of Cities. "Oh Cape Coral you are doing wonderful things there. OPPRESSING THE MAJORITY OF RESIDENTS. What a pallucka!

Carioscia he could care less. He amazes me how he could get elected.

Tonight's question to the mayor about not putting money in the infrastructure. He knows Sullivan was seated November 9, 2010 3 years into the melt down and there was no money. Why because the last Babboo city manager borrowed money with INTEREST ONLY LOANS. Borrowed on 2 $20 million dollar loans to pay existing bond interest. THAT WAS WHEN MAYOR BURCHE was the POS in the office of Mayor. The Fab 5 messed up by carrying the compliment of city staff which was at 1690 employees when he took office and Carioscia was not there. Carioscia is no prize and an out right liar at best. See he has that big ole Pension to live off of and he probably received his guaranteed increase from where ever he flew in from. While we do not have to be concerned with him he has figured out how to continue to live off a tax subsidized entity. Good job bozo you will be gone gone gone if you run again!

Switch et al: If you are going to mention one council member during last night's debacle, known as a Council Meeting (8/19/13), please....Leetz proved his point right up front concerning the Chief of Police issue. He is the sponsor. At any given time, he could have withdrawn his name if he doesn't agree, but originally he thought he could use it. Now he wants to blame the Attorney, CM, anybody for the new inclusions. Not his fault. What a dolt this person is. Just drop your support of the ordinance, Council Member and vote No. Of course, he will vote to Deny and try to look like the town hero. NOT.

Switch: Of course, you forgot the dynamic duo. From the Mayor, people are starving, we are taking the food from their mouths, blah, blah blah. Leetz: Oh, I'll vote when I vote and then you will know. Really, its no, no, no with no real substance. There are always the haves and have nots. There are always people struggling. No one likes to pay extra for anything. But the people of6 & 7 have known about this for years. Many of have already paid.

The Dynamic Duo in this city was Terry Stewart and Mark Mason. Is that who you refer to?

Too bad Marty McClain the deceptive councilman who never admitted he was not living in his district was not there.

He could tell us about his great state of Indiana and how they are selling homes the for $1. That is where he received his tutelage in governing. Isn't it? Hey Marty bring the Cape a Shopping center to pay for? Thank you for realizing if you ran you would be trounced!

So don't say anything unless it is a compliment. Now it is haves and have nots. Who in that whacked family of yours taught you that mom, dad or your crazy uncle?

You have shown us all you are as SHALLOW as many of us or least I always thought you are!

You are right on 2 points people do not like to pay more than they have to or should. As far as a vote or who you vote for my vote will negate your and I will think of that on each candidate! As to the 1249 employee their significant other children, relatives etc. they can be nullified and have before and will again. Why don't you tell all the homeowners out there how you are going to raise their electric bills with a 7% TAX, a separate bill for fire protection covering 38% of the total, a 5% bonus based on a brass ring 25 years away, and a 1/4% reduction maybe that as we have seen did not materialize at 2 points, one point, and is now may be a quarter of 1 point. As a slip lipped councilman Mc Grail uttered the figure of 2.5 not once but twice at last night's meeting. Funny are they Fruedian Slips or the guy is just a Liar by design?

Switch: You and I do not make policy. We can't implement or remove anything. We can only express our views. Your ranting is a clear indication of seams opening up and the garment falling to the ground. Your name calling and innuendo also demonstrates who you really are, a disgruntled citizen who wants to rule, not work with any entity to make it better. It's called mob rule. Stix and stones don't break bones...yada yada. Have a wonderful day in spite of yourself.
