When they shake the boot it will be their 5% bonus in that boot. ZIf you have it give it to other organizations that provide donations to charities.

They are also paid when you volunteer your money as they "shake the boot" at the street corners. Why does a 750,000 truck roll every time a 911 call goes in. A ladder truck for a fender denter?

James 71 you are 100% correct in your observation of the truck going to buy groceries. Make a list send 1 guy an hour early. Too tough to schedule? When Szerlag first came to town after the first interview with the now RETIRED fire chief and his counterpart in the PD. Szerlag stated to the media their was a PROBLEM with SCHEDULING. Never heard another word about that did we? Other than the fact the fire chief RETIRED.

Jot this one down the fire assessment is only going to increase 72% in 10 years.

Why that is only 7.2% a year

If you pay with your real estate tax or they hand you a separate bill you pay and it will be more than other communities.

83% medical emergency calls. You would think by now they would learn how to respond with smaller vehicles with the proper equipment on them.

But no they will pay way more in wages, burn up equipment at a less than national average of 20-25 years.

When has a government ever stated we have enough?

The 5% bonus on top of a raise is an example.

All the 3 legged stool REALLY does is keep the state of Florida from looking over the city's shoulder on MAXED out millage of 10 points.

The best part is these crooks on council have lied, cheated and will be sending Mrs. Menendez and whatever legal council to court. That is going to cost a bunch of this new tax money until the case is LOST, and it will be. The trap is all but set!

This is another leg on a stool to take more money for the overpriced services of this city. First a tax on electricity about 140 per year then a tax on lots that is over taxeed now. the city provides NO srevice for a lot owner. If someone dumps trash on it the city sends a notice to remove it and fines the victim of the crime. Never lost a house on an empty lot. $150 plus to protect weeds from fire probably started by a neighbor. we need more money for the firemen so they can get paid to collect for charities and go shopping with a 750000 truck.

This is another leg of the stool to set the city on a path of economic sustainability. In the end every dollar collected with this fee will be a dollar not needed in the general fund, hence lower taxes from ad valorum collections. Don't let Sullivan and Leetz lie to you for your vote!
