CapeComaX what rules can we break for your benefit?

Only you should be able to decide what stop signs to stop at?

Only you should be able to not live here but take advantage of the Homestead exemptions.

Only you and your BUDDY can decide which Cape Coral charter rules you will follow?

If you are you are an X resident you do not get to have a real say do you. Other than these internet type venues.

McClain broke the charter rules and his prior votes were fraudulent. His keeping it from the city administration, council, and his constituents was FRAUDULENT as well well.

Who thinks McClain is suitable to be crafting next years budget?

Not me. He is not up to it and based on his past performance I see most of his crafty work seemed flawed past, present and future.

Not even the decency to resign or tell anyone he was not living in the district.

I listened to McClain's rant again on how he has been*****an ASSet to the city council. How he is paid $290 (his words).

Marty don't let the door hit you on your back trouser pockets!

Listen to Nesta say, "McClain did not do too bad a thing." He did do a wrong incorrect thing by covering up, not being forthright with his actions Nesta though is going to make the decisions for the residents a little wrong is okay.

Personally this guy would screw up ordering a Happy Meal. How lucky is district 3 and the rest of the city to have a representative this weak representing them!

Nesta also is concerned about the media covering this incident. His takes keep it a secret cover it up we need to look good.

Anyone now see why the sunshine law was put in effect for crooks like him.

Nesta does not get the fact that every decision any government representative makes or action he takes is public. It is news worthy and keeps the crooks somewhat in check!

Nesta is worried that Tallahaeee, Florida State Capital is watching. Hopefully they are and are making notes as to what the residents are having to put up with!

McClain gone, McGrail no relection, Nesta will not ge

CapeComaX you need to be admired, NOT, for your bending and lack of use of the laws.

I suppose when you see a STOP sign that is just an opinion too?

One, McClain would not be making a deal if he thought he was correct in what he did. He knew he was breaking the rule of the charter.

You can put your opinion here but most can refute what you opine by the facts.

Onlythetruth I can understand how simple it is to amaze you. What is really going to amaze you is how the return to building homes here is going to NOT keep up with locations across the river. Who in their right mind will pay the real estate tax with subsidized trash pick up for businesses, subsidized sewer rates for businesses, advalorem tax for Fire Protection with a non advalorem Tax to cover the true cost of the service. With maybe a reduction in the millage rate by 1 mil. But as history has shown us in Cape Coral, Fl. the following years these will all rise showing continued run away government at its finest. Wait until the area in Estero, Alva, and the area in the Babcock Ranches area (29,000 homes) enters the housing market. If and when interest rates rise, plus the taxes here it will reduces the building and as the Slick 6 leader stated "The building of homes (marines) aren't coming anytime soon to rescue this city out". Let's see how these voodoo economics works out

Switchy, I find it amazing how yourself, and those you so adamantly support, have had an epiphany regarding rules, law,and procedure since your power has eroded to the point of non-existence. Close your coat, your hypocrisy is showing.

I just love how everyone knows the laws so much better than the City Attorney! I will stick with her opinion.

Let me tell you Untruthful it is the public's business.

He made the decision to run as a councilman and if it has or could have an effect on his performance I and the rest of the public has a right to know.

I could give a crap about his domestic affair. However he BROKE the RULES/LAW showing the underbelly of who he is and how he attends to business.

The charter was written for a reason just as the constitution for the United States, Florida, Lee County and other governing agencies. A set of of rules, codes if you will, to conduct business.

They were really put in place for the people like him and you who would run things by opinion and self justification just like you want it done now.

I really do not think you have the capability to find yourself with both hands in your back pockets!

Why do you think Marty McClain never let on that he was living outside the district?

I'll tell you. It was because to do so would have sent up a red flag that he was breaking the charter rules.

If he had the problem and had any character he would have announced it. He would have been in that time been signing a rental agreement or may be living in one of his own houses in his district.

But he was not and put it all out there of what he is really like and how he does not care what the residents think. Very obvious and with it comes a big helping consequences!
