What makes anyone believe that changes in Council mean anything? Elected officials are just that, elected officials who are presented with issues, discuss, listen to the people and then vote. Traditionally, the votes are 5-3, sometimes 6-2 and, depending on some council people who don't always stay for all of the meetings, 6-1.

DID WE THINK ANYTHING DIFFERENT WOULD HAPPEN??? THE UNION PUPPETS AKA SLICK-SIX BRUSH OF LAWS AND THE TAXES PAYERS AT THE DROP OF A HAT.THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY AT ALL AND THAT INCLUDES McCLAIN WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN GONE ON HIS OWN WITH NO DISCUSSION NEEDED,BUT THE PUPPETS NEED THE VOTE SO THEY CAN PASS THEIR TAX AND GET A BUDGET THAT THEY WANT THRU.DO YOU BELIEVE THAT IF THAT WAS LEETZ OR SULLIVAN THAT THE RESULT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAME???(DOUBT IT).I WOULD HOPE THAT THE PEOPLE OF THE CAPE REMEMBER THIS COME ELECTION DAY AND GET RID OF THE UNION PUPPETS.

this is why the power of this council must be curbed. They do not represent the will of the people they only represent their own interests. Vote them out and restrict the council's authority.
