It's time Cape Coral has our own board of commissioners. Our own school board, stop bussing etc It's time Cape Coral allows big company's here instead of people paying bridge tolls. Another thing it's time for Cape Coral to have affordable housing because Cape Coral is growing fast. I've lived in Cape Coral for the past 30 years so that's my opinion above.

County is still not implementing random drug checks on staff are they? No. Trouble in the transportation dept. the Metro Parkway Extension went from ahead of schedule to behind schedule. Stuff like this does not occur overnight. We even got to see the soft **** county manager cutting mangroves and arguing when he was caught. Get off my property I am the County Manager. He think he meant was. Although a lot of his team is still entrenched as staff. Worse part the people of Lee County get to pay for the lost law suit and the Cape Residents may get to pay a smaller portion but ultimately pay. P>S. The County Legal Department has shown it is mediocre at best.

The best place for this is the court because Lee County will lose. Bewteen the Env0inment Protection Agency and the State of Florida they will punch holes in the Lee County Defense. John Manning the Cape Coral representative has not done this city any favors. He was questionable on his first stint as a County commissioner and has shown he is consistent...BAD! A strapped county rushes to put up half a million dollars to start legal proceeding against a city, then pulls it, then uses it to coerce the city to try to get a building permit the state and the EPA would grant. We have seen the city of Cape Coral has its problems too in other areas. But we have seen the county up close and personal, County Manager viewing soft **** on the county computer and our dime, replaced by a another who jeopardizes our safety with the loss of medivac service and over $3 million in fraudulent billing for services. Commissioners working closely and weekly with a drug user and lecher to boot.
