There is nothing to stall. FDEP won't issue a permit to rebuild under any circumstances. What part of that don't you understand? Is English your second lanquage? It used to be said by the people of Matlacha that the water flowing from Cape Coral was polluted until water testing showed that the water from the Cape was cleaner than the water already in Matlacha. Give it up why don't you and go fishing.

Apparently, Mr. Amos doesn’t understand when it’s not broken, don’t fix it. After countless tests and environment studies, the results are all the same. The waters of Matlacha Pass are cleaner than they have ever been. Yes, the government (FDEP) got it right this time. This issue is a dead horse. Stop beating it!

Ok Leo, You obviously live in an alternate world the rest of us don't seem to share. Either tell us where the mushrooms are growing, or get your facts straight.

Mr Amos has his story a little twisted. The county has no legal argument against the city because the city doesn't decide what gets or not gets built. The DEP denied the permit to replace the****so they are the ones to go after, but the Commisioners are trying to go around the nessesary path. Mr. Amos failed to mention the county's inactions last year in discussions with the city. Spinning the facts only makes you dizzy, not right!
