Landlords and Tenants

September 12, 2013 - Sylvia Heldreth
I've heard the Florida Residential Landlord Tenant Act specifies how a tenant can be evicted for nonpayment of rent. It also addresses how to handle a landlord who won't maintain a property and how a tenant can withhold the rent until a problem is fixed. Some say it takes too long to evict a deadbeat tenant. Some say landlords don't maintain properties the way they should.

What do you think?
