High school softball volunteer coach arrested for inappropriate behavior with student
A volunteer softball coach at Oasis High School has been arrested on multiple charges due to inappropriate behavior with a minor student. According to a Cape Coral Police report, a student at the city of Cape Coral charter school reported to staff on Jan. 19 that Erick Rodriguez, 42, had been sending sexually explicit text messages and nude photos showing his face to another student. Cape Coral Police detectives met with the student who also said others at school were talking about the messages between Rodriguez and the victim.
